When you think wine, think Silicon Valley for celebrations. Though the area is known for its high tech corporations there was a time when wine grapes grew abundantly in the fields. While those fields are gone, wine is still in valley locals’ blood, however–where most  love a good sip, interesting glass or unforgettable bottle of great tasting stuff (wine). This week on April 25 the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce hosts its Wine Walk at Plaza Park and Downtown, $50. Here are more wine festivals this month, including a wine festival in a Southern California village, Atwater Village.

In two weeks Saratoga Chamber of Commerce hosts a wine stroll on May 9, 2015 to be held in “the most scenic village in the valley”. The afternoon event costs $40 pre, $45 day of. See saratogachamber.org tickets, and May wine events.
