SANTA BARBARA: Santa Barbara Zoo Roar & Pour May 11, 2019, 5-8 p.m.
It's a wild wine tasting event where the animals stay out late and the Zoo is open so guests ages 21 and over  can stroll and sip. General Admission Includes unlimited wine tastings and one ARC Chef & Sommelier commemorative glass, train rides, giraffe feedings, and exclusive access to Zoo grounds after hours. Enjoy live music from I.V.-born Uncle Uncle.

LOS ANGELES: Day 1: Krug Collector Dinner Event Date: May 3rd Event Time: 7:00 pm Host: Krug Champagne with winemaker Jerome Jacoillot Chef: Vartan Abgaryan Venue: 71 Above, 633 W. 5th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071. Website:   Effervescence will kick off the 3-day festival with a once-in-a-lifetime dinner for Champagne collectors, hosted by Krug Champagne, at 71 Above in downtown Los Angeles, located at 633 W. 5 th St. Winemaker Jérôme Jacoillot from the distinguished Clos du Mesnil will share stories and insight into the legendary Krug house. Current releases as well as very rare library bottlings will be paired with a special menu prepared by Chef Vartan Abgaryan. Seating is extremely limited. $1,750 per seat.

Event description: Hosted at The Line Hotel, located at 3515 Wilshire Blvd. in LA's trendy Koreatown district, the walk-around Grand Champagne Tasting will offer guests an opportunity to taste and converse with the winemakers, owners, and representatives from renowned Champagne houses. Master classes will be led by Champagne experts, focusing on the terroirs of Champagne. $250 a ticket.

Wine Auction and Grand Tasting of the Silicon Valley benefiting the Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF.)
