June Wine Festivals and Events

California is the Wine Capital of the U.S.! And June's the perfect month to celebrate wine in California. Days are nearly assured to be rain-free, sunny and practically perfect for wine tasting outdoors. That's why you'll find the majority of wine events held in June in California are held outside. You'll find them at the beach, near the ocean, in the park, at hotel and events outdoor spaces or in the mountains. Some wine festivals even include street fairs, art & beer elements, kids zones, and they're free admission.

SANTA ROSA: North Coast Wine and Food Festival June 17, 2023, 12 p.m. at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. LOCAL wine and food festival features ONLY Gold Medal winning local wines from Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Solano, Lake and Mendocino Counties in California. $95-160,

ATASCADERO: Atascadero WineFest June 24, 2023, 4-8 p.m. at Atascadero Lakeside Park. wines from the Central Coast and beyond. Unlimited tastings from over 100 premier  wines from more than 50 wineries, breweries, food purveyors, and art exhibitors. Bring a blanket, and a low-back chair to enjoy the lakeside setting.
