Ventura Nationals
12th Annual Ventura Nationals, Saturday August 30 and throughout Labor Day Weekend is a car show featuring hotrods, low riders, choppers and anything with wheels that can be souped-up and customized.
Other events on Labor Day Weekend include:
August 29 reggae band Dirty Rice performing as part of the Friday Night Concerts Series at Heritage Square, 6 p.m., Oxnard.
August 30 Skinny Little Twits perform on at the historic Olivas Adobe in Ventura from 7:30 to 9:30 (gates open at 6:30 for dining.)
August 30 Concerts by the Sea at Channel Island Harbor in Oxnard includes Acadiana, Zydeco/Cajun, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Camarillo Chili Cook-off & Music Festival, Sunday, August 31 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Camarillo Ranch includes a chili cook-off, a classic car show, live music, Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament and a fun zone for kids. $10 admission.
