Weekend Belongs to Music
There’s no shortage of great music this weekend as the granddaddy of jazz festivals on the West Coast, Monterey Jazz Festival, blows into town with hundreds of the world’s finest musicians taking center stage Sept. 19-21, 2014. There are two more jazz festivals happening at the same time and that’s amazing! Just up the road 150 miles and approx. 2 hours distance they’re hosting the Vacaville Jazz Fest, a free event. Also taking place is the Russian River Jazz & Blues Festival in Sonoma County However, these three jazz festivals aren’t the only music to listen to in California this weekend. In West Hollywood they’re clearing out the streets and setting up stages for Sunset Strip Music Festival which will feature the type of music WeHo is famous for–rock!
