The grapes have been harvested and visions of sugarplums dance in the winemakers’ heads as they head off to bed–NOT! Christmas in California Wine County (all 107 American Viticultural Areas) is a time of commerce, shipping, and celebrating! This is a wonderful time of year that wineries enjoy because their sales typically shoot through the roof as holiday shoppers buy gifts. If you love to see wineries, taste wines, and have a good time, there are many events held throughout the State of California in the most excellent time of the year.
