The oldest living Bornean orangutan in the U.S. died at the age of 55 this week at San Diego Zoo after a series of cardiac arrests and decision by medical staff to euthanize her, assured that recovery was not likely. Zoo staff members are mourning her loss, but the public is also taking it to heart:
A six-month-old koala joey emerged this week from mama Cambee’s pouch for the first time at San Diego Zoo’s Conrad Prebys Australian Outback. Visitors can see the koalas during their more active hours of early morning and early evening this summer at Nighttime Zoo June 19 -September 5, 2016.
