Chris MacDonald went on location to a the 9th Annual MacArthur Park Fishing Derby held in downtown Los Angeles recently. The lake was stocked before the event with some extra big trout, and there even was a guard watching the lake to make sure poachers didn't come in and steal all the great fish to ruin the fun for the kids.

Sponsored by the Daniel Hernandez Youth Foundation, California Fish & Game and other partners, free hot dog lunches, prizes and giveaways were included in a morning of fun. Dan Hernandez is a radio and TV personality promoting fishing and encouraging underprivileged youth to participate and experience the excitement of catching fish.
