Spring into fun with this jubilant celebration of nature's renewal. Enjoy egg-citing entertainment and activities, fascinating education stations, springtime book readings, special animal feedings, and photos with Big Bunny for an additional fee. Learn about pollinators, their role in the ecosystem, and what you can do to help them thrive with special performances, demos, and crafts that will inspire as well as entertain.

Special animal feedings at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Self-guided Egg-cellent Adventure tour to discover a wild range of egg-laying animals. Bonus challenge: Spot the dozen colorful eggs hidden around the Zoo!

Honey tastings with the Los Angeles Beekeeper Association 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tastings from five all-natural honeys are $4.

Photos with Big Bunny for an additional fee.

Education stations

Fluttering Butterflies explores the patterns of butterfly wings through a memory game and use colorful foam shapes to build your own butterfly. Then learn about butterfly metamorphosis.

The Nose Knows scent-sational education station.

Story time with the Los Angeles Public Library Outreach Van is on hand with library card sign-ups and books available to take home and return to your local library branch.

Grumpy Monkey story time with Suzanne and Max Lang  Saturday at 12 and 2 p.m.- The creators New York Times best-selling  Grumpy Monkey present a delightful tale of a silly springtime celebration in the jungle.

Strolling springtime characters Buzzing Bee and Fabulous Flower on Saturday and Sunday 

The Beat Buds on Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. - Interactive music program with  instrument play and  educational / fun tunes.
