Slightly less scary than the adult
counterparts are the kids Halloween events with costume
contests, trick or treating and special characters and
activities for pint size celebrations. Legoland California, home
to the Lego brick entertainment venue, offers Brick or Treat
event on weekends.
With giant pumpkins made out of big plastic Legos, kids can
climb, cavort and be entertained in Carlsbad.
In Buena Park the children can dress in costume for the
Monster Dance Party and Costume Parade. Camp Spooky Theatre
includes the Peanuts Halloween “Spooktacular” with singing and dancing,
plus “Linus’s Foam-tastic Pumpkin Patch.” Bootiful bubbles just
beyond the haystacks, and a walk through the “Haunted
Harvest” take kids through a cornfield of mischievous scarecrows.
Kids' Boo at the Zoo events, Legoland Brick or Treat, and
Disneyland's Scary Halloween are all geared to children. There
are train rides in parks, pumpkin patches, carousels, and tons
of candy treats for children to enjoy during October.
