  Luffenholtz Where permitted on a leash no greater than 10 feet in the parking and camping areas and within 100' of these areas Location: 2 miles south of Trinidad on Scenic Dr. Heading north toward Trinidad, take the Trinidad exit. Head west on Main St. and then turn left onto Scenic Dr. Follow Scenic Dr. for 2 miles.
• Mad River Where permitted on a leash no greater than 10 feet in the parking and camping areas and within 100' of these areas.
• Moonstone Where permitted on a leash no greater than 10 feet in the parking and camping areas and within 100' of these areas.
• Moonstone Beach Trinidad: Dogs are allowed off-leash under voice control.
• Samoa Dunes Recreation Area 300-acre sand dune park located just west of Eureka on Humboldt Bay. Dogs are allowed off-leash if they are under voice control. blm.gov
