SAN DIEGO COUNTY DOG BEACHES

• Coronado Dog Beach San Diego County at 100 Ocean Blvd. (North Beach) at the most northern end of the beach next to the Naval Air Station. Dogs allowed off-leash year round.
• Del Mar North Beach Dog Beach, San Diego County North Beach is located north of 29th Street and stretches nearly one half mile to our border with Solana Beach.
  North Beach area (29th Street to Solana Beach border):
  Nine months of the year, dogs are allowed along the entire two plus mile stretch of beach.
  Dogs must be leashed June 15 through Labor Day From Sept. 15 through June 15. Dogs are allowed off-leash and under voice control of owner from the day after Labor Day through June 14.
• Fiesta Island, Mission Bay San Diego: Dogs allowed outside the fenced areas and on beaches after 6 p.m. from April 1st to October 31 or after 4 p.m. from November 1 to March 31. Licensed, leashed dogs are allowed on the beach, and on sidewalks and park areas near the beach, during the night and early morning hours until 9 a.m. sandiego.gov
• Imperial Beach City Beach San Diego County Dogs on a leash no longer than 8 feet are allowed on the beach areas north of Palm Avenue and south of Imperial Beach Boulevard. cityofib.com
• Main Beach, Del Mar, San Diego County area (northern end of Powerhouse Park to 29th Street):
  Dogs not allowed June 15 through Labor Day.
  Dogs allowed on a leash from the day after Labor Day through June 14.
• North Pacific Beach San Diego: Garnet Avenue and the Crystal Pier, north to Loring Street. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach only before 9 a.m. and after 6 p.m.
• Ocean Beach Dog Beach, San Diego
  Location: Voltaire & W. Point Loma. San Diego's only 24 hour beach for dogs and perhaps the only such beach in California! Dogs are permitted without a leash at all hours of the day. sandiego.gov
• Ocean Beach Dog Beach San Diego: Located in the community of Ocean Beach, just south of the Mission Bay channel entrance. Dogs are permitted on the north end of the beach at all hours without a leash. Several hotels and vacation rentals are located next to Dog Beach. sandiego.gov
• South Beach, Del Mar, San Diego County area (Powerhouse Park south to Torrey Pines border at 6th Street):
  Dogs must be leashed year-round. delmar.ca.us
