Huntington Beach Beaches:

A Very Happy June to You and It's National Donut Day. Yummy.

I'd like to wish the following people a Very Happy Birthday. They are: Huntington Beach Resident Diane Griffith, COLDWELL BANKER CAMPBELL REALTORS Terry Rylski, Seaside Productions Maura Kearney, Huntington Beach Resident Amber Vasilik, KTLA Weatherman Jim Castillo, Huntington Beach City Councilman Joe Shaw, Las Damas Michelle Bagstad, Stella Magnetica/Actor Scott Hartman and My Neighbor Chris Selecky.

Huntington Beach Police Chief Ken Small's Administrative Assistant Karin Reed asked me to mention This Item:
Police Chief Small and other Orange County Law Enforcement personnel attended the Peace Officer's Memorial Ceremony last week at the Civic Center Plaza, in Santa Ana. The monument is a tribute to all the officers who serve the County of Orange, and remembrance to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty”. The bronze plaques bore the names of officers of the law, who were killed in action. The plaques are set in the shadows of white uprights that portrayed police officers at work. One of the uprights depicts a lone rider on horseback, in memory of the county's first officer killed in the line of duty.

Huntington Beach Public Works Department Construction Manager Eric Charlonne Informed Me of This Item:
The following arterial streets will have lane closures due to CIP construction projects:

· Adams Avenue 1 or 2 lanes (depending on the item of work) of westbound traffic over the next 7 to 8 days.
· Heil Avenue 2 days next week due to final striping
· Magnolia Street today for the final slurry activities at the intersection of Indianapolis
· Magnolia Street 2 days next week for final striping.
