Tomorrow June 15th, 2006 At The Huntington Beach Art Center On Main Street At 6:30PM Is The Allied Arts Board Awards. A Desert Reception Shall Start The Evening. This Is A Free Event To The Public. Congratulations To All Of The Award Recipients For Their Great Work In The Community.

On Tuesday July 4th, 2006 Is The 102nd Annual Huntington Beach 4th Of July Celebration And Parade. This Year It Is Themed " Freedom For All"!!!!

On Sunday September 17th, 2006 There Is Going To Be A 9th Annual Walk For The Animals In Affiliation With The Orange County Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals (OCSPCA). This Is Taking Place At: Central Park East Off Of Goldenwest Street. Ralphs Grocery Store Is Sponsoring The Event. There Is A 5K And Also A 2K Walk For The Animals. Well Mannered Dogs On Leashes Are Encouraged To Attend. No Puppies Less Than 6 Months Old Please. Christina Macaulay Host Of Reach Out A Time Warner Communications Television Show, Is Going To Be The Emcee Of The Event. Tyson The Skateboarding Bulldog Is Going To Be The Mascot. Activities To Follow The Walk Include: Entertainment, Sponsor And Vendor Booths, A Silent Auction And Door Prizes. All Funds Raised From This Walk Shall Go Towards The Organization Programs Including: Cruelty Prevention Through Humane Education In The Class Room. The Event Begins At 9:00AM. Registration Costs $20 Dollars Before September 1st, 2006 And $25 Dollars On The Day Of The Event. Kids 12 Years And Under Are Free. Teams Of Five Or More Pay $15 Dollars Each If Pre-Registered Before September 1st, 2006. Registration Forms Can Be Obtained Through The Orange County SPCA.
