The Huntington Beach Police Department has been adding new FAQ's on crime prevention to the Surf City Pipeline on a regular basis, and includes our FAQ's about identity theft. We will continue to add new information on a regular basis to assist the community in keeping their family and property safe. The newest FAQ section gives information on; How Identity Theft Happens, What Are Some Ways To Prevent Identity Theft and What To Do If You Become The Victim Of Identity Theft.

Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crime trends in the United States, but there are many simple steps to help prevent yourself from becoming a victim of this financial crime and ways to help the police department solve the crime if you become a victim.

Bikeway Master Plan Project Development Public Meeting
The City of Huntington Beach will be hosting our first public meeting to solicit input from our residents on how to make the City a more bike-friendly community. The City has hired the consulting firm of KTU&A to assist us in the preparation of our long range bikeway master plan. This meeting is an important step in the development of our master plan by gaining valuable input from people who bicycle or would like to bicycle in the City. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Huntington Beach Central Library, in the Talbert Room. The Library is located at 7111 Talbert Avenue, between Goldenwest Street and Gothard Street. Anyone can get more information on the meeting or the bike master plan process by contacting the City's Public Works Department at (714) 536-5431 or going to the project website at www.huntingtonbeachbikeplan.com .
