Sunset Beach Permit Signs

Sunset Beach Beaches:

Sunset Beach, Calif. signage includes a variety of messages telling you what you CAN'T do at the beach.

The Sunset Beach sign shown in photo is similar to other signs seen throughout beaches in Orange that are generally operated by the County of Orange. You'll see this sign shown also at Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach beaches.

Some of the NO's included:

No Dogs Allowed

No Glass Containers

No Alcohol

No Fires

No Camping

No Boat Launching

Sunset Beach is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Two other signs in the photos include messages:

1. NO PARKING Anytime Tow Away

2. Tsunami Hazard Zone. In case of earthquake go to high ground or inland.

OK, now that you know what the signs say at the beaches of Sunset Beach, you know understand the rules. They are fairly basic and are similar to rules found at most beaches in Southern California and Orange County.

What's missing? No smoking, either
