PORT OF LONG BEACH: Free tour of harbor summer only and lottery system due to demand. Do you want an exclusive look at a seaport at work? Due to high demand, the Port is implementing a lottery system for the 90-minute, behind-the-scenes, narrated tours running May through September. To increase access, the new online reservation system will provide an eight-hour window to register via computer or mobile device for one of the four harbor tours available in the next month. A random drawing will select participants for each tour and within 48 hours you will receive confirmation of your reservation or notification that you are on a waiting list.
