The major concert halls are all ringing in the sounds of Christmas during the month of December.

Symphonies in San Francisco, San Jose and all points in between are performing Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker for the dozens of ballet productions ranging from the San Francisco Ballet performances at War Memorial Opera House to San Jose Dance Theatre's Nutcracker with a symphony performing.

At San Jose Theaters (sanjosetheaters.org) there's a full roster of Christmas musical and featured performers crooning holiday tunes.

Several cities in the Bay Area offer Christmas sing-alongs and carolers are especially busy during the holidays performing concerts for the public to enjoy.
