free from anywhere in the Harbor, or make reservations at one of the waterfront
restaurants.
Get up close and personal with all the ships at the Annual Dana Point Harbor Boat Parade of Lights. Come aboard one of the vessels to actually get out on the water and into the competition. A fleet will join private boaters from all over Orange County allowing you to ride on a decorated boat. Please note that seating is somewhat limited so you may be standing during the duration of the cruise. The standing areas offer the best views of the boat parade. Don't miss the opportunity to become a part of this one-of-a-kind holiday experience.
On a 90 minute Holiday cruise, you will enjoy holiday music, up-close views of all the boats participating in the parade. Your decorated boats vies for awards from Judges Choice to Best Use of Lights. Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats and vie for the awards of Judges Choice, Best Theme, Best Use of Lights, Best Animation, Most Colorful, Most Original, Best Sailboat, Best Powerboat and the Perpetual Trophy for the Yacht Club with the Most Entries, along with many other awards and cash prizes! Bring your children aboard and those that are 6-12 years of age will get to help judge the parade and will be given official judging forms! Dana Wharf will tally the Kids Choice awards. A cash bar is available, but cocktails are not included with your fee. Please bring cash with you if you would like to buy beverages.
