7 p.m. Parade begins. in front of Peninsula Park and heads to the Main Channel, turns at Hobie Beach, loops in front of the launch ramp then heads back to Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club and repeats the route for a second run. The parade can be viewed from parks and walkways that line the route as well as from most Harbor restaurants. Boat charters are available for those who want to watch the parade from the water.

OXNARD CHRISTMAS -- Parade of Lights Celebration at Channel Islands Harbor with waterside entertainment, arts and crafts boutique. Children's inflatable fun zone with snow play area. Activities start during the day and extend into the night. Pull up a bench or make reservations at one of the restaurants to view the boat parade at 7 p.m., visible from all points along the Harbor's edge and at surrounding restaurants. 

Thousands of sparkling lights dance on the water for the magical moment when Santa flies across the sky marking the beginning of the parade.

A boat competition offers great awards, the most coveted award being the perpetual Sweepstakes Trophy. All registered boats will be positioned between the Lead Boat and the End Boat.
