To make this holiday season a little bit brighter, the Irwindale Speedway & Event Center is stepping in to bring holiday cheer to families throughout Southern California with its second annual Santa's Speedway Christmas Lights Drive-Thru Spectacular - an all ages immersive drive-thru holiday lights experience. Transport yourself and family into a Christmas wonderland as you drive along an actual NASCAR track and come face to face with Santa's Village. A series of jaw dropping Christmas vignettes and lighting displays include a record breaking 110-foot free standing Christmas tree made up of more than 100,000 lights. 

The 30-45 minute driving experience designed by Mobile Illumination takes place on an actual NASCAR racetrack. It begins passing through California's largest display of color-changing palm trees, then encountering Santa's Village with elves hard at work. The land filled with Christmas sweets includes 20-feet tall illuminated lollipops, the world's first 30-foot tall drive-thru ornaments (so you can really experience what it is like to be elf sized), Rudolph's Enchanted Stables filled with illuminated race cars, Christmas Trees and Snowmen made from tires, a 200-foot long illuminated red Christmas bow and light display.

A real attention grabber to surprise and delight even Santa is the record setting free-standing tree towering 110 feet in the air, decorated with over 100,000 programmable LED lights.

The experience concludes with a New Year's vignette featuring a nine-foot LED bottle of champagne that bursts into celebration, creating a cascade of bubbles and the words, Happy New Year,  overhead. 

Themed concessions include Christmas cocoa and pre-packaged holiday treats, as well as the opportunity to come up close and personal with Santa himself as he waves and talks from the cockpit of his 40-foot locomotive.

Irwindale Speedway featured in numerous movies, commercials and films hosts weekly events from NASCAR racing to the All-Star Showdown. Since 2020 the venue has hosted a Christmas Lights Drive-thru, a limited engagement attraction held late November to early January.
