About the theme in 2018: In the 1960s Fresno was called "city of tomorrow" due to its tremendous growth and development. However, the thriving urban core diminished. 2017 marked a tipping point dramatically shifting the course in the right direction once agin with the reopening of Fulton Street after 53 years! Downtown Fresno Christmas parade seeks to re-imagine and redefine Fresno's Future through the eyes of Christmas in a futuristic presentation which still maintains its roots and tradition. Anything goes -- robots, Jetsons, lasers, Star Wars -- who knows?
