Pleasanton Hometown Parade

December 2, 2023, 5 p.m.

Route: The parade will start promptly at 5 p.m. and is approximately one mile in length. The parade starts at St. John Street and proceeds south ending at Abbie Street.

Main Street Closure: 3:30–7:30pm

Tree Lighting Ceremony (following parade) The Tree Lighting Ceremony will follow the parade at the Pleasanton Arch on Main Street.

Special Appearance by Santa Claus

The parade is open to all people, groups and organizations in the community. The parade is designed as a community and family event. The parade and tree lighting will only be canceled due to heavy rains. If the event is canceled, it will not be rescheduled.

Santa Claus will make a grand appearance in the parade, which includes floats, marching bands, civic organizations, etc.

Events are not guaranteed. It is your responsibility to confirm before going.
