You're invited to begin your holiday season with performances along with a visit from Santa and last but not least, the Lighting of the Tree. The festivities start with free train rides in the park at 5 p.m. and the tree lighting at 6 p.m. Student choirs as well as local senior citizens, will spread holiday cheer with musical performances throughout the evening.  The Mayor lights the City's 18-foot tree. Following the ceremony, the community can enjoy free refreshments and posole. Lastly, Santa Claus will make a guest appearance and be available for photos at no cost.

Concert by Sierra Vista High School Choir, Julia McNeill Carolers, Pualani Polynesian Dancers, plus free train ride.

Following the event, the event in the past has invited guests to make their way outside for complimentary hot chocolate.

 Baldwin Park Holiday Parade to Deliver Sounds and Sights of the Holiday Season. Expect the sound of drums, trumpets, car engines, laughter and a whole lot of holiday cheer at Morgan Park in Baldwin Park.

Starting at 9:45 a.m., a picturesque procession of bands, drill teams, floats, car clubs and youth groups will be led down Baldwin Park Boulevard by  the parade grand marshal.

The parade will start at the intersection of Baldwin Park Boulevard and Olive Street and head south toward Morgan Park, where the Baldwin Park City Council will present awards to the top 3 entries in each parade category, ranging from car clubs to floats.

The Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association will also judge participating middle school and high school bands, with the winners receiving cash prizes. At 10:30, Morgan Park will brighten up with songs from The Christmas Carolers and unique, one-of-akind crafts and decor from local vendors in the Holiday Boutique. Pozoles or breakfast burritos will fill the air with delicious smells before filling the bellies of hundreds of hungry attendees, too.  

The parade will require street closures at intersections along Baldwin Park Boulevard between Arrow Highway and Ramona Boulevard
