Brea's annual Tree Lighting ceremony is held on the steps of the Civic & Cultural Center each year with merriment and an invitation for one and all to come join in the the fun. Celebrate the season with this festive event that includes  musical performances. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus arrive with much fanfare.

Cookies and hot chocolate are served and there may be an optional photo with Santa for a fee. If you're looking to Lighten Up this holiday season, Brea has the perfect enlightening event.

The City of Brea considers the holidays a time of Joyful Giving and includes many traditions that are opportunities for the public to pick a project and participate. Among them are Adopt-a-Senior, Angel Tree Program, Adopt-a-Family, The Wish Tree, Spark of Love / Toys for Tots and Brea Holiday Food Baskets, a collection of non-perishable food items.
