Annual Holiday Tree Lighting invites one and all to com to this annual holiday favorite! Each year this event brings the La Palma community together to ring in the holiday season with musical talents from local schools, plus the endearing Community Carol Sing Along where those who know the holiday favorites can sing loud, while youngsters learn the tunes and lyrics through this great experience.
Santa and his elves are coming to town! Join the La Palma community for its 35th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony hosted by the Community Activities and Beautification Committee. Ring in the holiday season this year with musical performances by La Palma's local schools and enjoy the Holiday Tree lighting, which starts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1. Before the ceremony, stop by and check out Santa's Village where families will have an opportunity to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus starting at 3:30 p.m.
There will also be arts and crafts, a letter to Santa station, and more! The community is also encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots Drive. Toy donations may be delivered at the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony or dropped off at the Community Center, 7821 Walker Street from November 19 - December 10, 2021. For more information, visit CityofLaPalma.org/TreeLighting. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be rescheduled to the following Wednesday on December 8.
Before the event an activities area will feature crafts, an opportunity to write a letter to Santa, and of course, the young and young-at-heart won't want to miss an early visit with Santa Claus! Bring cameras, Christmas letters if you like, and holiday spirit to make the evening bright.
