The Festival of Trees and Tree Lighting Ceremony are a fantastic way to join in and meet your neighbors with warm community spirit all over the town. Themed, decorated trees purchased & decorated by citizens line the park for the community to enjoy. They are then donated to families in need locally. Yes, there are people who cannot afford a Christmas tree but thanks to this special effort many will enjoy a bright holiday in the manner it was meant to be celebrated--through giving!

Purchase your tree ($35 in 2023), pick a theme, gets some lights for your tree and decorations.

Show up at 9 a.m. on Dec.2, 2023 with family, friends, co-workers or a team and get ready to decorate. Tree must be ready for viewers and judges by 5 p.m.

The City  of Murrieta supplies the power source for your lights and judges announce the winners at 7:30 p.m. after the Tree Lighting.
