  Get into the spirit of the holidays with an event that's partly a tree lighting and partly a parade. Ring in the season at the City of Yuba City Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting.  Parade in your best holiday apparel from the north end to the south end of Plumas Street during the Downtown Business Association's Christmas Stroll. Just show up around 5:45  p.m. to join in the parade!

After the procession (a fancy way to describe exercise) the Mayor of Yuba City  lights the giant evergreen under the water tower.

Santa Claus (St. Nick) will be wearing his finest red outfit with white faux fur and will greet all the good girls and boys. The event is free and open to the public.
