FOUNTAIN VALLEY - Kids' Fishing Derby OC Parks, California Department of Fish and Game and United Anglers of Southern California host the anticipated annual Kids' Fishing Derby at the North Lake at Mile Square Regional Park. The lake will be stocked with 1,600 pounds of trout for the derby. Registration will be from 7 to 8:30 a.m. and the Fishing Derby will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. A free barbecue lunch will be provided to all in attendance. There will also be prizes for age groups 7 and under, 8 to 11, and 12 to 15 years old.
