Hanford feels like a small town but offers the amenities of big cities with entertainment every bit as enjoyable as anywhere in California. Hanford event highlights include seasonal and annual events such as the summer Movies in the Park or the holiday tree lighting and Santa Visit.

Movie in the Park
The City of Hanford Recreation Department brings to you our Free Movies in the Park series the second Friday of Every Month!

May through September, enjoy family favorites on the grass and under the stars. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, folding chairs, ice chests and snacks. Movies will begin after sunset. See below for movie start time estimates, movie titles and location. To better serve the community we will rotate parks each month.
