Open to the public, listen to the the ringing of the bell in the World War I Memorial Arch at Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea!

This symbolic gesture marks the start of the annual Memorial Day Ceremony, which concludes with speeches from city dignitaries and military officials in Devendorf Park.

Afterward, the American Legion Post 512 hosts an  Open House & Live Entertainment 12-3 p.m. Open to the Public, Refreshments  available. Location: Dolores 2 South of 8th, Carmel, CA alpost512carmel.org
