Attendees receive candles at the end of the ceremony to place around the eternal flame memorial in remembrance of a fallen hero

The City of Mission Viejo pays homage to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country during its annual Memorial Day Ceremony. As with year's past, the 3-foot by 9-foot American Heroes Tribute Banners honoring veterans who have lost their lives in combat are on display throughout the Civic Center walkway and The Kershaw Garden.
