Presentation of colors, salute to the fallen, and guest speakers

Annual Memorial Day Commemoration honors all veterans  at the second fountain on the Main Avenue of the cemetery.  Music, live singers, speakers from the Armed Forces, presentation of colors by the Boy Scouts Piedmont Troop #6, salute to the fallen soldiers by gun salute and more. Complimentary refreshments will follow the ceremony. In the past docents lead a guided tour of the refurbished Civil War plot and other areas of notables that are buried in the cemetery.
