Huntington Beach, California--Sports teams provide great themes for 4th of July parade floats. There is nothing more patriotic and American than the love of a baseball team and when in Orange California where the Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade is held annually, the favored team may just be The Angels. 

Throughout the parades 100+ year history other ball and sports teams have been represented, as well. Probably hundreds of teams have appeared in the parade or been honored by specific groups. Several times the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Team has had players appear in the parade, and there have been many, many more professional, amateur, and local school sports teams that have been in the parade.

The parade contains all sorts of floats and all sorts of people. It is a community parade that attracts civic pride with dignitaries, celebrities, and heroes in sports, to name a few.
