Huntington Beach, California--What is a parade without shiny red woodie cars and stars? The Surfaris were a popular band that play at song with a drum solo that became famous in the 60s and thereafter. "Wipeout" is remembered and played to this day on radio stations. The Surfaris band has performed several times in the Huntington Beach 4th of July celebration on stage and on a float.

The crowd loves the group and their classic songs that often reflect surfing and beach themes beloved by beach cities along the California coast.

The band members wear flower-print shirts, and signature white or tan slacks reminscent of their early years during the 1960s.

If you love a parade, the bands, and the entertainment, it's especially cool when you are treated to classic songs and the original bands that created those hits and still perform them decades later.

You gotta' love a parade!
