Annual Airshow -- The City of Riverside hosts an annual event, Riverside Airport Open House & Airshow. The free admission event includes:

Open House & Airshow! One of Riverside's two largest family entertainment events which attracts over 90,000 spectators, this free admission day of entertainment includes Military Aircraft, Warbirds/Replicas, Classic Car Show, Military Vehicles, Aerobatics, Helicopter Displays and Aviation Vendors. Event features more than 200 acres of aircraft displays, fun for the kids, food and refreshments, helicopter displays and community group exhibits your family will be thrilled to be part of this very unique entertainment opportunity. Arrive early for breakfast at D & D Airport Cafe or Pancake Breakfast. Aircraft displays, kids activities, food vendors, community groups, presentations and entertainment all provide a thrilling day of exploring, learning, and just having fun. Also included is a Classic Chevy Club Car Show.

The event launches with a pancake breakfast beginning at 7 a.m. It usually costs around $5.
