Riverside Lunar Festival celebrates the Year of the Horse  with food, shopping, and cultural performances. The 14th Annual Riverside Lunar Festival returns downtown on Mission Inn Avenue for a weekend packed with food, entertainment, attractions and the all - new carnival rides for the first time ever were introduced in 2025.

Grand kickoff on Saturday, January 17, 2026, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., featuring Taiko Drummers, traditional Lion Dances, and Shaolin Kung Fu performances that bring the spirit of the Horse to life! It's a weekend filled with cultural performances,  food, and festive family fun  all in celebration of Lunar New Year! 

Chinese dances by YaLi Dance Studio and Tang Arts and Performing Studios, energetic K-Pop shows by M.A.D. Dance Studios, and the thunderous beats of UCR's Japanese Taiko Drums. Beer Garden + Local Food Vendors invite guests to taste your way through the festival with a wide variety of food vendors serving beloved Lunar New Year favorites. Lamb skewers and steamed buns, flame-grilled squid and more! Artisan Marketplace  unique creations by local and regional artisans include handcrafted jewelry, calligraphy, paper art, caricatures, henna designs, and manga art.

Gourmet Street Food like sizzling skewers and dumplings,  sweet festival desserts and fusion treats. 🎨 Artisan Marketplace: Explore a vibrant market featuring handcrafted art, jewelry, calligraphy, and festive souvenirs, all made by talented local artisans. 🎈 Family Fun Zone: Bring the kids to enjoy games, inflatables, and creative workshops where culture meets fun! 💬 Interactive Workshops: Try your hand at calligraphy, learn the art of tea ceremonies, and craft your own Lunar New Year decorations to take home.
