Third Avenue from E Street to Roosevelt
Chula Vista, CA

The village becomes a yellow, lemon-scented festival with activities and attractions for children and adults alike. Lemon Festival celebrates Chula Vista's heritage as the "Lemon capital of the world" and features live entertainment on 3 stages, hand crafters, international foods, contests and lemons galore. Get your fill of lemon-centric food and drinks, peruse handmade and commercial goods and compete in the infamous lemon pie eating contest.

Several years ago the festival introduced something to sweeten the pot, so to speak. The Craft Beer Garden featuring Mike's Hard Lemonade cocktails also sells craft beers in which guest 21+ can purchase.

Third Avenue Village Association's Lemon Festival in the heart of Chula Vista celebrates everything lemon, commemorating the city's history as the Lemon Capital of the World. On this exceptional day, the pedestrian-friendly Village is transformed with hundreds of booths lining Third Avenue. Is it crowded? Well, slightly busy, no doubt! With around 25,000 people attending the festival there's definitely a buzz of excitement throughout the streets of Downtown Chula Vista.

Two stages feature live musical performances all day, rides and games at Kids Corner as well as specials at the Village eateries, pubs and shops.

Whatever it is that excites you, the Third Avenue Village Association is sure to squeeze all kinds of lemony fun out of this signature event.

Can you guess what the most popular beverage is at this event? Lemonade! Beer popularity is growing but the lemonade is the all-ages summer thirst quencher. Thousands of gallons of the tasty drink are sold at this event.
