and LOTS of Fire.
An hour's drive outside Sacramento or Reno, NV, Colfax is
celebration an event that celebrates art, music and fire,
fashioned somewhat after Burning Man, an annual event held
in the Nevada desert. Expect to see some of the Burning Man
crowd at this great event that features family entertainment
during the day, then shifts gears to adult entertainment and
antics at night.
Wear your wildest and craziest costume to get in for $10.
Face Painting booth will be available to help you get accessorized . Faux Fur and face paint is highly recommended!
Admission is $12 if your not in burner wear or
costume. Strictly enforced.
Fire&Steel is family friendly inviting kids to come with
parents, but beware! Burner events can get
crazier after approx. 8 p.m. when it is recommended for
adults ONLY.
Beer, Wine and Margarita Parlor! Enjoy the night! Drink
responsibly. 21 and over. Hosted by the Colfax Kiwanis Club.
Bring your Playa Bike for the Bicycle Transformation
Station. Get it decorated and blinged to ride in the
playa bike PARADE thru Historic Colfax! Trophies for the
most decorated bikes! 2 to 5 p.m.
Stick around after Fire&Steel for the After Parties. Five
bars and clubs in Colfax will be hosting live bands and drum
circles till 2 a.m. (shuttle van available)
