This wonderful annual event includes a fabulous pear-themed parade, a beauty queen, grand marshals, float entries, equestrian units, marching bands and more.

Courtland Pear Fair celebrates more than 40 years of fun and festivities in the beautiful California Delta. The fair attracts 6,000 - 8,000 families and individuals from all over California and is one of the last small agricultural fairs around. It offers a great selection of food including Pear Pies, Pear Ice Cream, Pear Strudel, Pear Cakes, and fresh pears for sale. Fabulous entertainment is offered throughout the day, including a children's area with many activities, a car show, and the Pear Parade that ends with the coronation of our Pear Fair Queen and her royal court.

Activities at the festival include vendors, arts and crafts, bands, entertainment, a classic car show, fun run, wine tasting and youth duck calling. At the Classic Car Show guests can ooh- and ahh- over (pre-1973) street rods, muscle cars and classics, plus vintage tractors and steam engines.
