The cast: Bryan Fraser as Curly McLain, Erika Baldwin as Laurey, James Scognamillo as Jud Fry, Matthew Rangel as Will Parker, Giovanna Martinez as Ado Annie Carnes, Peter Crisafulli as Ali Hakim, Hannah Clair as Gertie Cummings, Tim Klega as Andrew Carnes, Reid Harris as Ike Skidmore/Dance Jud, Nate Nolen as Slim, Erik Diaz as Fred, Derek Isaza as Cord Elam, Edvan Perez as Dance Curly, Angela Mattern as Dance Laurey, Kady Lawson, Julia Iacopetti, Courtney Hays, Lenessa Age, Bonnie King, Taya Fosmire and Max Seigel as the Ensemble. The performances are backed by a live band.
THE GEM THEATRE, recently underwent a major reconstruction, adding a state-of-the-art sound system, newly refurbished theater seats, and a reconfigured stage. The theater also boasts a new $80,000 lighting system, three separate lobbies, and two separate concession areas and is ADA accessible. THE GEM is just moments away from the Garden Grove Freeway (22) and offers plenty of free parking.

Listen to live music by Garifuna American Heritage Foundation United and the sounds of traditional drums accompanied by maracas, turtle shells, and conch. See how Cuban choreographer Kati Hernandez combines the magic and flavor of Cuban rumba, Oricha dances, Afro-Cuban Jazz. Register to view Jose Angel's Solo Kinetic Painting Live Demo Performance. FULLERTON: Misery, play, January 20-February 26, 2023 at Maverick Theater. Stage adaptation of Willam Goldman's screenplay of Stephen King's thrilling novel follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his 'number one fan,' Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home.  Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 6 p.m. Tickets: $30 general admission, and $15 for students with ID (not appropriate for ages 13 and under), mavericktheater.com or  (714) 526-7070.
