After a 22-year absence the community-inspired Founders Day Festival returned in 2015. The parade rekindles past times, featuring dignitaries, local bands, and community groups marching south onto Wilshire Avenue. An old-fashioned town fair at the Fullerton Downtown Plaza from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. includes entertainment, contests, food and vendor booths, and an awards ceremony for the marching bands. The parade may be viewed from the sidewalks on Harbor Boulevard between Berkeley and Wilshire Avenues.

Fullerton Museum Beer Garden is selling beer and wine. The event is a production of the City of Fullerton, the North Orange County Chamber of Commerce and community groups, volunteers with additional support from JP23 BBQ Smokehouse and Sports Bar. Parking for the parade and fair will be available in the public parking lots throughout downtown Fullerton.
