A legendary lineup of renowned anthemic rock musicians will take the stage oceanside at , for Surf City's premier event -- the Huntington Beach Food, Art & Music Festival. A new music festival that has added elements of fun -- art and food -- takes place on the sand at Huntington State Beach as one of the few beach concert celebrations in all of California! Scour the coastal state beaches and you'll be hard-pressed to find any other event like this inaugural celebration of the finer things in life. Different from U.S. Open of Surfing's throngs of youngsters unleashed to see free concerts, or last September's controversial Wet Electric electronic event with swimming pools and cabanas built on the beach, Huntington Beach Food, Music and Art Festival expects to draw happy, mellow and family-oriented concert-goers -- approx. 30,000 during its three days, according to State Parks Capt. Kevin Pearsall. A rib-eating competition, a wine-tasting village and a taste of” cuisine area from local restaurants, as well as a family fun zone, are all planned for families, locals and visitors who may stay in hotels in the shoulder season. As a tourist destination, the event meets the goals of filling beds with heads in the shoulder season, typically starting after Labor Day and going for several month till Easter in the Spring.

Feel the sand between your toes as you rock out to classics by an incomparable All-Star band featuring members of Toto, Loverboy, Kansas, Chicago, Night Ranger and more! This premier family event will also host critically acclaimed musical acts such as Sheila E., Mark McGrath, Gin Blossoms, Michelle Branch, Jefferson Starship, Blues Traveler's John Popper, and Don Dokken. The Huntington Beach Food, Art & Music Festival will also feature national award-winning BBQ rib teams straight from The BBQ Championships in Reno, Nevada, representing more than 10 states and Canada, showcasing their finest culinary selections to taste. Foodies can also expect to experience some of the best food trucks that Southern California has to offer, as well as many other delicious local treats. One hundred juried artists selected through an extensive process will showcase a wide variety of talents and mediums including jewelry, painting, woodworking and photography.

Event will feature art, food and musical performances. Sponsors include Rolaids, Coca-Cola, Sara Lee Snacks, Club Cornbread Cracker Bites, Coors Light, Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce and Huntington Beach Art Center, with media support from K- Earth 101, OC Weekly and 94.7 The Wave.
