Plum cake, Plum Strudel, flamed Plum Crepes, German donuts filled with Plum jam, plus Chicken, Brats and Hamburgers. Dancing, music, cocktails, beer, dachshund races and more! Plum Fest is a casual afternoon of family entertainment in an enclosed facility that helps parents keep an eye on their kids. This festival is a warm up to Oktoberfest which happens weeks later on September 17, 2023 (through November 5, 2023). Plum Fest isn't full blown Oktoberfest as the attendance typically is slightly less due to summer vacations. It's actually a really good time to visit Old World and enjoy the flavor of things to come.

The Plum Fest began with a dear lady,  Elly Schwarzer, who baked  Pflaumenkuchen (plum cake) till she was 100 years old. The grand dame of Old World Village passed at the age of  103 ½ years but forever left her mark on those who knew and loved her. You can experience the pride & joy that goes into this festival held in her honor.  Join the 21st Annual Plum Fest at Old World Huntington Beach.
