The Greater Kings County Chamber of Commerce (formerly the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce) has rebranded Lemoore Pizza Festival to Lemoore Days in 2023.    

Friday, 5-10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday Noon-5 p.m. Free

Lemoore Days offers many of the vendors and activities previously found at the Pizza Festival such as local food and drink vendors, live music and entertainment, interactive exhibits and  family-friendly activities.

The Italians claim to have created the pizza Californians adore today--the kind with tomato sauce on it. California loves pizza so much that famous chain pizza restaurants such as Shakey's and California Pizza Kitchen come from our state, just like the Pizza Festival held each spring in Lemoore. Celebrating its 19th season in 2019, the beloved pizza festival is unique.

Be a slice of history at the annual Central Valley Pizza Festival at 12 p.m. in Lemoore City Park. Pre-registration required: lemoorechamberofcommerce.com/pizza-festival
 

Friday

• Food booths, craft vendors, band in the park gazebo.

Saturday - Giant Slice Contest

• Pizza decorating contest. Teams have 30 minutes to decorate a slice of the 9-foot pizza using edible ingredients.

Pizza Picassos are encouraged to create a super slice of the Mega Pie. The competition is free to enter, reserve your spot. The Lemoore Chamber of Commerce provides each team with the pizza pan, dough and all the ingredients to prepare your pizza creation. Only 16 slices are available.

Judging is based on Team Spirit | Originality | Effort | Execution | Overal Finished Appearance

1st place team gets $200 cash
2nd place $100
3rd place $50

Sunday - The Fatte Challenge

• Pizza-eating contest 15 minutes for two-person teams to eat a 28-inch three-topping pizza, usually from Fatte Albert's Pizza Co.

$50 fee to enter contest
$200 winning team will receive 
2nd place wins $100
3rd place wins $75

Teams must consist of two persons with big appetites!
Teams will be given 15 minutes to finish The Fatte 28" 3 topping pizza… The biggest pizza in all of Central California!
The winning team will either be the first team to finish eating the entire pizza in the 15 minute limit or the team who has eaten the largest portion of The Fatte pizza.
This is a fun event so bring your friends, family and co-workers to cheer you on!

Los Angeles tried to host a pizza festival several years ago and the event hasn't returned. Among pizza festivals, the Central Valley Pizza Festival may be the only one that California has. So let's hear it for Lemoore Chamber of Commerce and the festivals that symbolizes California's good taste.
