 The 64th annual Los Alamos Old Days Celebration is held each year to honor, preserve and celebrate the town's authentic Western heritage. Highlights of the weekend celebration include free entertainment, two-day Peddlers Mart, Saturday's Classic Car Show and Sunday morning's Greatest Little Small Town Parade.

The Parade Grand Marshall is Robert G. "Bobby" Smith, who moved to Los Alamos in 1938 and was raised by his great-grandparents who had owned property at Bell Street and Foxen Lane since 1907 that is still owned and occupied by the Smith family today.

Schedule of Events

 Events are sponsored by the Los Alamos Valley Men's Club - a local philanthropic membership group open to men, women and families - dedicated to preserving the town's unique character and hospitality; as well as providing scholarships and funding to local students and organizations.


FRIDAY
6 - 9 p.m.  Old Days Chili Kick-Off Party: Enjoy chili, corn bread, salad, and all the fixings to begin the celebration with a tasty kick. No host bar. Music and dancing with Skip Stecker Absolutely Country (DJ Services) from 7 – 9 p.m. Old Codger Contest winner to be announced at 8 p.m.  Tickets $7 per person at the door.
Men's Club, 429 Leslie Street, corner of Centennial & Leslie St, Downtown Los Alamos.
SATURDAY
7 - 11 a.m.  Pancake Breakfast: $6 adults and $5 children under age 12, at the Men's Club.
9 a.m.  - 5 p.m.  Peddlers Mart and Food Booths along Bell Street (HWY 135).
9 a.m.  - 5 p.m.  Civil War Encampment: featuring the "California Hundred," Company A, 2nd Massachusetts Volunteer Cavalry re-enactors, corner of Bell & St. Joseph Streets
9 a.m.  - 3 p.m.  Classic Car Show: along Bell Street (HWY 135)
9 a.m.  - 5 p.m.  Entertainment by KRAZ-FM "Crazy Country" in Ferrini Park, and along Bell Street.
11 a.m.  - 5 p.m.  Tri -Tip Beef Sandwich Sale: cost is $6 each at the Men's Club.
3:30 p.m. Car Show Award Presentation in Ferrini Park.
9 p.m. -Midnight Dance to Live Music featuring the "CRV Band": Country Music at the Men's Club (21 & over only please); no host bar; cover charge $8 each or 2 for $15
SUNDAY
9 a.m.  - 5 p.m.  Peddlers Mart and Food Booths along Bell Street (HWY 135)
9 a.m.  - 5 p.m.  Civil War Encampment featuring the "California Hundred," Company A, 2nd Massachusetts Volunteer Cavalry re-enactors, downtown Los Alamos.
9 a.m.  - 5 p.m.  Entertainment by KRAZ-FM "Crazy Country" in Ferrini Park, and along Bell Street.
9:30 - 10:15 am Non–Denominational Worship Service in Ferrini Park, Led by Rev. Warren Einolander from the Cottonwood Community Fellowship, Los Alamos. All ages invited.
11 a.m.  - 12:15 p.m. Greatest Little Small Town Parade Starts at Bell Street (HWY 135) & Augusta Street and continues West down Bell Street, ending at St. Joseph Street. Grand Marshall is long-time Los Alamos resident Bobby Smith.
Noon - 3 p.m.  Tri-Tip Beef BBQ including beans, bread, salad, & salsa. Live Entertainment with Michael Shelton $10 Adults, $8 seniors age 55+ or kids under 10 at the Men's Club.
1 - 2 p.m.  Entertainment in Ferrini Park, corner of Bell & Centennial Streets.
5 p.m.  Celebration concludes.
