Attendance is expected to exceed 400,000 visitors. Wow! What's amazing about the festival is its focus on community and the talents that shine. An annual Starquest talent singing competition for two age groups,  ages 5-17 years and 18+, allows rising stars to earn exposure, experience and prize awards.

What is it? What's it about? The Taste of Soul features lip-smacking, finger-licking food prepared by chefs who know how to cook! Southern favorites such as candied yams, sweet potato pie, crawfish dressing, fried chicken, jerk chicken, crab cakes, red beans and rice, crawfish and corn chowder, peach desserts, ribs, and so much more are sold at booths and food trucks along the street. Find new restaurants and caterers all in one location.

Keeping it simple is the recipe of this successful family oriented festival. Starquest talent singing competition is open to anyone who likes to sing. At the event you see the best of the best perform. Los Angeles is the epicenter of gospel artistry as you'll see when some of the finest gospel talents and choirs get the audience up on their feet and moving to the beat with inspired performances.
