Annual San Diego Festival of Arts in North Park is a free festival. It has grown into a local tradition that includes unique art, vendor booths, live graffiti art demonstrations, fabulous food, craft beer and exciting live music performances spread across six stages. Being on the forefront of the art, music, food and craft beer movement, the San Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park offers something for everyone. Kids can enjoy the hands-on art area offering children the chance to participate in free activities designed to stimulate and inspire their imaginations. New this year is the Live Art Expo where festival attendees can watch artists as they take over Herman Street with live graffiti art demonstrations. Zip Car, and a number of North Park businesses, have donated vehicles for these creative artists to transform into works of art. The festival also offers great shopping amongst the hundreds of arts and craft vendors selling handmade goods of all kinds. There will be food to suit all cravings; ethnic, vegetarian, traditional fair food and locally made cuisine. Craft beer can be sampled from 25 different craft breweries in the Waypoint Craft Beer Block (see website below for ticket information), or, stroll into a beer garden for a full pour of Stone, Mother Earth, or Modern Times.
