The Raymond Old West Fest is celebrating Raymond's unique contribution to the history of early California. You'll hear some of the best cowboy singers alive today, along with story tellers, and poetry.
Western art will be on display as well as silverwork, leather goods and local Native American art.
Plus Dutch ovens on display and a silent auction.
Proceeds benefit Raymond Museum and other causes.
Raymond, Calif. was established in 1886 as a restocking/resting point for businessmen, miners and travelers alike on their way to Yosemite. When the railroad developed in Raymond, it opened up the lumber industry and opportunities for settlers to Raymond. As the population grew, so did the need for businesses and schools, creating the small town of Raymond as we know it today
