Parade Route: North Harbor Drive -- Starts next to County Admin Building and ends near Ruocco Park at West Harbor Drive

America's largest balloon parade featuring 28 balloons, world-class marching bands, magnificent floats and entertaining drill teams!

The scenic, bayside streets of downtown San Diego will come alive with the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade! As always, this exciting family event brings together world-class marching bands, magnificent floats, entertaining drill teams, and a procession of enormous balloons - more than any other parade! Over 100,000 street-side spectators will enjoy the parade along with a nationwide television audience.

Snapdragon Bowl Bash

December 26, 2023, 5-7 p.m.

Gaslamp Quarter & East Village

FREE family fun, great food, live music and more! Live performance by BOTH university bands Battle of the Bands - 5 p.m. on Fifth Avenue and Market Street Photo booths Face painting & temporary tattoos Street performers Giveaway items and more! Witness a one-of-a-kind performance as the two university bands face off in a battle of the bands on Fifth Avenue and Market Street. Location   5th Street in Gaslamp Quarter. Starting on J Street & going North, the event will stretch for four (4) blocks: J St. to Island St. Island St. to Market St. Market St. to G St. G St. to F St. After the Battle of the Bands, you can purchase tickets to the Concert Benefiting Rady Children’s Hospital at Gallagher Square in Petco Park.

Holiday Bowl Day & 5K

USC vs. University of Louisville, 5 p.m. Petco Stadium followed by the Sky Show

This signature San Diego event annually showcases a thrilling game between some of college football's most competitive conferences, the Big Ten and the Pac-12.

Tailgate Party 2-4 p.m. at Stadium Parking Lot

Pregame Show starts 30 minutes before the game and features an annual tradition with university marching bands, spectacular pageantry, parachute jumpers and The Big Flag, the football field size American Flag.
